Greenbelt is unlike anywhere else our crew works. Old Greenbelt is a New Deal planned town, built in the 1930s with co-op homes laid out around courts and walkways rather than driveways, so the front door often faces a footpath instead of a street. Andre has loaded those co-ops for years, plus the garden apartments off Greenbelt Road and the newer flats over at Greenbelt Station by the Metro. True Blue brings its own trucks and W-2 crew to all of it.
The three Greenbelts True Blue loads
Each part of town asks for a different plan, and Andre sets it before move day instead of figuring it out at your door.
- Old Greenbelt co-op homes — 1930s units that open onto courts and pedestrian paths, so we park where the road allows and walk a longer carry without an upcharge.
- Garden apartments off Greenbelt Rd — low-rise blocks where we work the exterior stairs and stage the truck close.
- Greenbelt Station near the Metro — newer mid-rise flats where we book the elevator and the loading window ahead.
- Beltway timing — I-495 wraps right past town, so we schedule the lift around the worst of the loop traffic.
A binding flat rate, plus storage for a closing gap
✓ Our crew, our trucks
- Andre or someone in his office picks up — no call center
- One flat written rate is exactly what you settle at the curb
- The same True Blue crew loads and unloads, every time
- $1M cargo coverage, same-day COI for your building manager
- Claims stay in-house — Andre signs off himself
× Broker chain
- A call center bounces you and sells your number on
- Quote rebilled at delivery for “extras”
- A different stranger’s truck shows up each time
- Generic certificate, COI is a fight
- “Not our crew” runaround on damage claims
Andre writes your Greenbelt rate up front and it holds through move day. Hourly is $150/hr for two movers, $205/hr for three, $265/hr for four, though most homes take a flat band: a one-bedroom is $710 to $1,180, a two-bedroom is $1,180 to $1,980, and a three-bedroom is $1,980 to $3,250. If your dates miss, climate-controlled storage is about $130 to $300 a month by size.
| Move size | Typical flat rate |
|---|---|
| 1-bed Old Greenbelt co-op | $710–$1,180 |
| 3-bed near Greenbelt Station | $1,980–$3,250 |
A long path carry and a slow Beltway never move your number
The rate is flat and written, so the footpath carry at an Old Greenbelt co-op and a backed-up I-495 are our problem, not a line item. Everything rides under $1M cargo coverage with a 9-month claim window.
Leaving the DMV up the I-95 Northeast Corridor? True Blue drives those lanes ourselves, so the crew that packs your Greenbelt home is the crew that delivers it. Call Andre at (888) 711-4778.
